BannersXChange rules and conditions
Use these guidelines and triple the effectiveness of your banners
- Your html code must be placed in the most visible part of a page (the first 400 pixels from the top of the page) where your site visitors will see the ads when they first open your page.
- If you place other large banners on the same page, they must be located at least 500 pixels below the BannersXChange banner. Another large banner cannot be visible while ours is exposed on a standard monitoring screen of 800 x 600 resolution.
- Only smaller in-house or affiliated program banners are allowed to appear in the same screen with BannersXChange ads -- they must not exceed 5,000 square pixels. No other banners from other banner services are allowed on the same screen.
- Pop-up banners of any kind are not permitted to compete with our clients.
- Place your required html code immediately into your indicated page.
- Do not place the code in an auto-refreshed page.
- Delete your account if you remove your required html code at any time. (Your account will automatically be deleted after two weeks of inactivity.)
- We reserve the right to delete an account and bar the member from the exchange for any reason.
- Animated .gif images are allowed and will cycle normally. Image size is limited to 16K and should be the proper pixel size for the style selected.
- Adult-oriented sites and banners are not allowed to participate.
- Clients banners that rotate in the BannersXChange network must direct visitors to a webpage within their site. Banners that have previously earned credits can not be manipulated to direct surfers to a sites' pages outside of the account that the credits were earned with. For example, if client site www.ooo.com is registered with BannersXChange.com and is rotating a banner within our network, the site owner cannot transfer those credits to another site, thereby directing the surfer to an alternate site, such as www.ppp.com.
- Those caught breaking the rules will be permanently barred from the exchange -- no exceptions.
